Back to school means fundraising for your local school will start soon. Have you heard of Burning Man Project

Next week the Burning Man project will be underway.  It is an interactive community and living art project.  I'm not attending, but look forward to finding feeds from Black Rock City and the Burning Man Project as a study in sociology and anthropology. 

I suppose you have to begin with the premise that only people of a given mind set would attend Burning Man in the first place.  Nonetheless, it can reveal a lot about the nature of human organization and community.

I'm kind of old-fashioned about burgers.  I like to get a thick juicy burger with a little lettuce, mustard, and pickles with a big side of fresh, home fries.

Braves Baseball is a Homerun

You can't beat Atlanta Braves baseball.  The kids went to two pre-season games and then one of the boys had tickets to opening night.

It was a blow away.  The J-Hey kid is coming out strong.  A three run homer in his first major league at bat.  You can't beat that.  If he was feeling the pressure, Jason Heyward sure wasn't showing it!

Way to go Atlanta Braves.

Atlanta’s Hot Concert Tickets March 5-6, 2010

Like most weekends in the ATL there are a ton of great shows this weekend, Friday, March 5 and Saturday, March 6, 2010. From big venues like the Atlanta Civic Center to smaller venues like the popular indie venue The Masquerade there are concerts of every genre and size this weekend.

Salt-N-Pepa, Biz Markie, Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane and Doug E. Fresh will all be celebrating at Fresh Fest: Old School Reunion Tour at the Atlanta Civic Center. Concert begins at 8pm.







Casting Crowns and Kutless will be at First Baptist Church Woodstock at 7pm. Concert is sold out, so fish around online for tickets.
